Rain

I used to hold a grudge against the rain. When you lack a vehicle and have nowhere to hide, being caught in a downpour is genuinely shit—it soaks your clothes, chills your bones, and ruins your day. But life here has flipped my perspective.
We have just finished planting thousands of seeds across the sectors, and suddenly, the gray skies are no longer a nuisance. Now, I find myself standing on the porch, scanning the horizon, and praying for the clouds to break open and bring a little more rain.
